The Rotary Club of Hall sponsored another student to attend the Rotary Darling School of Freshwater Research (RMDSFR) in 2012.
This purpose of this program is to enable students who live in the areas of the Murray-Darling Basin to experience activities that are involved in freshwater research, the environment and conservation. This includes the process of scientific investigation. The students work in teams and attend lectures and undergo field trips to conduct research.
Shauna returned to the club and spoke with confidence and enthusiasm about her recent time at the Murray Darling School of Freshwater Research.
The program is run in April each year to Year 11 students in ACT, NSW, Victoria, and South Australia and the ACT. If this is something you think you may be interested in, please get in touch with the club.
