COVID-19 has had a major impact on everybody. For Rotary clubs, this has meant clubs cannot hold weekly club meetings. As a social club, this has meant we have been forced to conduct club business online. A big change for our members.

The Rotary Club of Hall has run the Capital Region Farmers Market every Saturday for over 15 years. Fortunately, the market is an essential business enterprise in this period of disruption. However, it is not business as usual.

CRFM covid-19 Market
Social distancing ensuring our Capital Region Farmers Market remains open throughout the lockdown. The club has gone to great lengths to ensure our stallholders and customers can still get their fresh produce.

A considerable amount of work has gone on behind the scenes to ensure the safety of customers and stallholders. Stallholder numbers have been reduced and large spaced implemented between stalls. Our ‘food ready to eat’ area has been closed and club members are now stationed on entrance and exits to count customer traffic to ensure social distancing in the market.

For customers of our market, please visit the market website for all the latest market news https://capitalregionfarmersmarket.com.au/

We wish everyone a safe and productive isolation and look forward to getting back to business as usual.
