Along with many Canberra businesses, sporting clubs and other local Rotary clubs, the Rotary Club of Hall has again contributed to the annual Kids In Care Appeal which was first held in 2013.
Organised each year by police at the Woden Police Station, this simple initiative enables children under Child Protection to receive a Christmas

The process starts with officers and care workers putting together a Christmas list. The items are purchased or donated by clubs and businesses and all delivered to the Woden Police Station. Volunteers will later wrap the presents before distribution.
It is a big project and it grows every year. The picture above shows only one corner of the toys that are piled up all around the walls. This sorting room is filled to capacity. It is likely the appeal will need a larger space for sorting if it continues to grow at its current rate.
We are pleased to contribute but it is also marvellous to see just how much the Canberra community have got behind this community.
Our thanks to all who contributed. Well done.
