We had so much interest from people wanting to attend our weekly meeting on the 7th of August, that we had to move it from our club rooms to Gold Creek Station.
The big drawcard was the appointment of past charter members Tony Howard and Greg Cutbush as Honorary Members they both step back from regular involvement with the club.
Both men were acknowledged for their input in the club since 1989 and there was a good deal of humour as club members recalled stories from the early days of the club.
It was also the evening Paul Tyrrell received yet another Paul Harris Fellow in recognition of his continued dedication to the club over the years.
Plus, our Youth Exchange student Monami Sasaki gave a lovely talk to the club on her time in Canberra so far.
