Operation Cleft is an international Rotary project initiated by the Rotary Club of Box Hill Central in 2005. The program enables life-altering surgical intervention for sufferers of Cleft Palate.

Give the Gift of a Smile

rotary operation cleftThe Rotary Club of Hall is currently helping Operation Cleft by funding cleft palate and hare-lip operations for ten Bangladeshi children at a cost of $300 each.

Cleft palates left untreated lead to feeding and speech problems in particular, and the earlier they are treated the better the results for the children.

After the pain of surgery, Operation Cleft has now brought a total of 11,000 smiles to poor and rural children in Bangladesh.

If you’d like to make a real difference to a child’s life, visit Operation Cleft and for as little as $300 you can make a massive impact on a child’s life.
