2019 Senior Australian of the Year, Dr Suzanne Packer addressed the club on the importance of caring for our children and gave instances of abuse that she had encountered over the years.
“By the current measures our Australian children are not doing as well as they could – middle of the pack, certainly not leaders,” Dr Packer said in her Senior Australian of the Year acceptance speech.
Her talk was greatly received by all the members and a number of partners who attended the evening.
