From the desk of President Yvonne:
It was very exciting that so many members and partners braved the cold evening to come to partners night and to hear our speaker Caitlin Figuerido.
Congratulations to Club Service Director Barbara for the successful reintroduction of specific partners nights. The Rotary room was filled with chatter and laughter as we squashed up and enjoyed the fellowship.

The Rural Fringe has allocated two pages to the donations that Past President Paul presented at our Changeover in June. I have received an increasing number of positive comments from Rural Fringe readers who say that they did not know we existed and how generous was the amount of the donations.
President Steve Jackson sent us a letter to express his thanks for our Community Directorate donation of $8,000 to be put towards clinical cancer trials soon to begin at Orange Health Service. Dr Steve Millard moved to Orange two years ago from St George Hospital in Sydney where he worked at the coalface of cancer trials. Orange North is providing $5,000 to match our donation.
