Bulletin No 19/16-17 (20-3-2017)

Hi reader,

A lot has been happening over the last few weeks and for those who haven't been to our weekly meetings, I'll try and provide a potpourri of updates in this edition.

Unfortunately we've had a few problems with the club website over the last two weeks. Firstly with server memory issues and secondly with an attack on the code that required me to restore the site from backup and take action to make the site more secure. It seems even well meaning Rotary club sites are still fair game for unscrupulous web hackers.

In this issue:

This issue is a bit of a catch up issue as production of the Bulletin has been thwarted on a number of occasions.

See you on Tuesday for dinner at the Wandering Goose (ie. the old Gumnut) - ED

Of interest

Janine and Chris attended RC Jerra's recent membership evening held in their local hall. 16 people attended the information night and upon following up this week, Chris was told that the following Thursday the club had 6 new potential members attend their weekly evening.

Well done RC Jerra on a fantastic initiative.
