Bulletin No 10/16-17 (3-10-2016)

Hi reader,

I missed getting last weeks Bulletin out – I've been particularly busy lately and that meant a few things had to slip.

The time has come to call for an Assistant Bulletin Editor. Preferably someone who can do the Bulletin while I'm away over December and January.

Please apply by getting in touch (yes it really is that easy!)  - ED

Don't forget that Tomorrow is Hat Day, so wear a hat to Rotary and bring your money for the auction.

Weekly Reports

Presidents Report

Lots happening in the clubhouse but no President's report this week. But it could be a big week for news next Tuesday.

Club Service

Reminder to check out The Club Calendar all upcoming event information should be here!

NB: Your timely RSVP by 6:00pm Sunday is appreciated. Responses after this time cause all organisers logistical difficulties and as such you may be unable to attend.

Don't forget it is Hat Day this week.

No Reports:

No reports were submitted to the Bulletin Editor this week but last week's meeting was really something.

Who'd have thought we'd have been able to fit so many people in the club house last week... Let alone have so much left over food! (And all for only $15 a head! – Well done Janine.)

Big Youth Evening

The Club Rooms Were Packed

It really was standing room only in the club rooms last week. We were packed in so tightly we had to move the tables to the side so we could put enough chairs in the room.

Our young visitors were from Tumbarumba, Batlow and Yass Interact Clubs. Those from Tumbarumba and Batlow thanked the club for assisting them in attending the International Rotary Convention in South Korea and the Yass Interactors reported back to us on the project we helped fund to install computers in a small school in Bali.

The kids from Batlow brought some excellent apples that had all disappeared by the end of the meeting.
