Bulletin No 08/16-17 (2-9-2016)

Hi reader,

Another short Bulletin with nothing much to report. Last Tuesday was the first of our Visioning exercises. See the President's report for details.

I may not be back from Sydney in time for next week's meeting, so in case I don't arrive in time, best wishes with visioning part two.

And a reminder to Directors to please email any reports ASAP after the Tuesday meeting.  - ED

No photos of Martta this week - (she'll be back after we've finished our visioning exercises.)

So this weeks 'page 3' girl is one of our very own... Do you know the identity of this beach babe?

Weekly Reports

Presidents Report

A great night with Sunny Forsyth last night and the commencement of our visioning exercise.

Many thanks to those who were able to attend and thanks for your contribution.

For those who were unable to attend can I please ask that you assist Sunny in completing an exercise he undertook last night. All members present were asked to give their thoughts on a number of issues (on a post-it note) whether it  is an issue, a problem or a suggestion or how we should plan for the future.

The topics were:

• Club Culture

• The CRFM

• Our Investments

• Major Projects

• Other (anything else you may wish to raise)

Can I please ask that to email Sunny some bullet points to complete the picture of the club that he is compiling. Sunny is also wanting to speak one on one with as many members as possible.

All members - Please email or phone and advise Sunny of the best mode of communication - phone, FaceTime, Skype or a meeting for coffee - he is available over the coming week. His contact details have been emailed to all club members.

Next Tuesday we hope to start to build some plans/roadmaps for a way forward. Sunny will put together a paper addressing these issues for the Board (ASAP) and we will bring this back to a Club Assembly for further discussion.

Many thanks for your participation and support.

Pres., Paul

Club Service

Nothing reported to the Bulletin Editor.

A number of projects are under consideration. Of note, the team will be cooking bacon and eggs at Fraser Primary School on Friday morning.

No youth report.

No International report.

No one from the CRFM committee attended the meeting however Pres Paul said the numbers were down.

Visioning Part One

With Sunny Forsyth

There is not doubt that everyone was very pleased with the progress that was made at last Tuesday's Visioning exercise. There was unanimous applause for the excellent manner in which Sunny facilitated the evening. Many commented that it was a shame we didn't have a full membership turnout.
