President John's Report
President John expressed his concerns over the resignation of Adrienne Moss from the Club.
Adrienne has been a major contributor to both the Rotary District and the Hall Club over many years. John stated that some of the areas of disappointment expressed by Adrienne had been considered over the Christmas break and would be a major topic of discussion at the next Board meeting in February.
Next week's Club Assembly and Special General Meeting will be basic to the future wellbeing of the Club in that we have to fill the current casual management vacancies and complete the election of office bearers for the following year.
'I ask all of our members to consider coming forward and offer their time and services - a broader range of participation can only be a positive'.
A good attendance at the meeting is essential to ensure all members have an opportunity to express their preferences.

Fraser Primary School have asked for assistance with a sausage sizzle at their fete scheduled for 6 March. This is a Sunday this year and as such I will seek confirmation of the date.
Our contribution of $1000.00 to assist the Gundaroo Sanctuary "Homeless Young Wombats" has been put to good use with the purchase and delivery of the water tank which forms part of their bushfire protection system. The balance of the project cost has been donated by others involved in the project.
I did not attend this month's MULCH reference group meeting at Marymead due to a late work commitment. However, I do expect an update report from them in the near future.
