We are only a month into the new year but already we have hit the ground running with many projects underway.

We enjoyed a nice relaxed evening with few laughs at the Christmas in July. Thanks to Emma and Christine for organising this fun social night.

Upcoming Speakers

Next meeting on Tuesday 10th August our speaker will be Samuel Soares, First Secretary from the Embassy of Timor-Leste.

On the 24th, the following fortnight, we will hear from Scott Saddler speaking about the Forest Gazebo Initiative.

I attempted to attend the opening of AEIOU in the John James Village Prescient today.
An unnecessary hour of driving, because the opening had been cancelled due to lockdowns preventing interstate visitors from attending. Nonetheless, I saw the building and noted the sign stuck on the window acknowledging our contribution. 👍
